Our collection includes lash primer, and adhesive options to suit lash artists at different levels of experience.
Let’s start with our Lash Primer. Lash primers are essential liquids needed before you apply lashes. Our lash primer can be used pre service to help rid your client’s lashes from makeup, oils (including lotions and the body’s natural oils), and debris on the lashes, like clumped makeup and dust. Once primed, you have the best chance of creating a solid bond with your lash adhesive, and the best chance for lashes staying put.
Our range of lash adhesives includes the Velvet Lite Adhesive, Velvet Adhesive, and the Velvet Super Adhesive. All our adhesives are medical grade, and free of latex and formaldehyde.
Which adhesive to choose?
Your level of experience, and how sensitive your client’s eyes are, will determine which lash adhesive you use for a particular job.
Our Velvet Super Adhesive dries fast (1 second), so is for experienced lash artists who are able to manage the task of applying lashes quickly. It also has low viscosity, so requires a little more skill to use. This one has a 4 week retention.
Our Velvet Adhesive takes between 1-2 seconds to dry, and a thin viscosity. The retention time for this adhesive is approximately 7 weeks.
Our Velvet Lite Adhesive is suited to clients with sensitive eyes and skin. It has a 2 second drying time and medium viscosity, so it should be a little easier to work with for a developing lash artist (if you place a lash in the wrong spot, you have time to remove it before the adhesive sets). This one has a 5-6 week retention.
